This day..... Some days are about becoming..... other days... unbecoming.. (?) These old shutters wanted to be reinvented and become something totally new and beautiful.... to bring some JOY! ... Of course there was also a teensy moment of my jaw hanging open when I realized the WELCOME was a little oversized for the other old shutter.... Whoopsie! This old dresser had definitely seen better days..... She was given to me in a pretty sad state... as a whole, pretty worthless.... but look at some of the beauty that has been awakened!! The warped back, turned into gorgeous wall hanging... and now the drawers have been taken apart!... Sure, she put up a struggle when I started to clean her up and peel away some of the old stuff that had tried so hard to become her identity. ... Its amazing what a little love and consistency will do. She began to feel that it was safe to be vulnerable again because thats what needed to happen in order to let the real beauty shine.
