When you donate to DLS, 100% of donations to DLS help send kids to camp. How? By lowering the cost for families! The full cost of sending a child to our summer-long day camp is about $5,000, but thanks to donations, families pay less than half of the total cost of our Summer Program! Make a meaningful donation today at https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/50719

Our 6 week-long summer day camp is structured like school. Why? Because the summer break can be tough for children with special needs and their families. Many need structure and stability of routine to be at their best, and to keep practising the life skills they learn in school.

2020 has been a doozy! How’s your family doing? We’d love to hear how local Delta families have been keeping their kids happy (and the parents sane!) these last few months; share your story in the comments. We hope you all stay happy and safe!
One of the things that make our day camp special is how it's designed to give Delta kids with a wide range of disabilities a summer day camp to call their own! We provide all of the support they need to get out into the community, continue learning, and have some summer fun! Our volunteer board members work hard year-round to make the camp happen, and donations let us pay our summer staff who work with campers. We rely on your donations to ensure there is a Summer Program year after year. To make a donation visit: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/50719
