Meet Dr. Kristen Brandao, D.D.S Dr. Kristen Brandao is excited to join the Dentistry on Brant team and to serve the Burlington community. Dr. Brandao completed both her Bachelor and Masters degrees at Western University before graduating from The University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Brandao is gentle, knowledgeable and highly proficient. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Dr. Brandao is a member of the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario and the Ontario Dental Association. She resides in Burlington with her husband and daughter. When not in the office, Dr. Brandao enjoys playing soccer, attending concerts and traveling.

Amanda, Certified Dental Assistant and Receptionist Amanda graduated from the National Academy of Health and Business with a diploma in Chair-side Dental Assisting in 2015. Amanda completed her Co-op placement with Dentistry on Brant and has been a part of the team since. Amanda has a passion for learning as much as possible when it comes to dentistry and loves learning and growing with the team at Dentistry on Brant. Amanda can be found in the operatory assisting the dentist, or you may hear her friendly voice on the phone, as she is part of the administrative team as well. When Amanda is not at the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, seeing friends and binge watching NETFLIX.

Christa, Registered Dental Hygienist Christa graduated George Brown College in 2009, celebrating 10 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Christa takes pride in educating her patients about their oral health and celebrates the progress they made together. In her spare time, Christa likes to travel, enjoys the out doors and spending time with her dog.

Meet "Gabby", one of our fabulous Dental Hygienists. Gabrijela, Gabby is a graduate of Southern Ontario Dental College and has been part of Dentistry on Brant’s team since 2016. Prior to her dental hygiene career, Gabrijela was a Dental Assistant for 12 years. She enjoys building a strong bond with her clients and helping them better their health. Gabrijela is a busy wife and mom of two teenagers. She enjoys trying new recipes and spending time with family and friends.

Meet Dentistry on Brant's Dental Assistant, Sarah! Sarah, Certified level II Dental Assistant Sarah joined the team in June 2019 as one of our chair side Dental Assistants. Sarah graduated as a Level II Dental Assistant at George Brown College in 2013. Sarah takes great pride in her career and is the perfect edition to our team. On her spare time Sarah loves spending time at the farm with her horse, Kyanna.

Meet Dr. Linda Dang Dr. Linda Dang is a graduate of the University of Toronto, Doctor of Dental Surgery Program. She takes special interest in root canal therapy, complicated surgical extractions, including wisdom teeth extractions and can provide conscious moderate sedation to both children and adults. Dr. Dang also provides dental treatment for implants, cosmetic restorative dentistry, and Invisalign. She takes a variety of continuing education courses annually to stay current in her practice and is an active member in both the Ontario Dental Association and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Dang’s friendly and kind demeanor makes her patients feel comfortable.

Last week we "showered" Dr. Dang with lots of love before she goes off to have her first baby. We wish you well, Linda, and will miss you while you are gone. See you in February!!

Meet Dr. Mary Anne New Dr. New has been working as a general dentist in the Burlington community since 2006 and truly loves it! She graduated with distinction as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto in 2005. Following this, she moved to Edmonton to complete a general practice residency at the University of Alberta. During this program Dr. New learned advanced skills in oral surgery and sedation. She also became comfortable treating both medically compromi...sed and severely anxious patients. Dr. New practices a wide scope of dentistry but has special interest in surgical procedures such as wisdom teeth extractions and implants. She also has additional training in nitrous-oxide, oral and intravenous sedation to help her patients feel more comfortable during any type of dental treatment. Dr. New’s genuine caring personality and gentle touch are why her patients love her. She truly enjoys forming long-term relationships with her patients and helping them in any way she can. Dr. New is dedicated to providing her patients with the best knowledge and latest technology to make their visit comfortable and relaxing. In her spare time Dr. New enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys. They love to travel and go on hikes together. She looks forward to meeting you and your family at the office soon!

COVID 19 UPDATE - Welcome back! We are excited to welcome patients back into the office tomorrow June 9th 2020! As you begin to come in for your appointments, you will notice some changes.... We take your health and the health of our team and community seriously. Here are a few systems we have put in place and precautions that we take everyday. Pre-screening We will continue to pre-screen patients using the latest guidance from the Government of Ontario and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. We will continue to pre-screen over the telephone. Social Distancing When you arrive in our parking lot we ask that you call 905 633 7373 to inform us you have arrived. We will let you know when to enter. Social distancing precautions will be in effect in our practice. Office Disinfection and Sterilization At Dentistry on Brant we have and continue to uphold the standard of care at the highest level and have implemented the new protocols for the safety of our patients, team and community. Air Purification We have installed HEPA filter air purifiers in each room, These filtration systems reduce airborne pathogens including viruses and bacteria. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) All our dental healthcare professionals wear personal protective equipment to protect themselves and our patients. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Dear Patients We have just received notification from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario advising all dental offices immediately suspend all non-essential and elective dental services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, we will be temporarily closing our office and returning April 6th unless there is a need to further assess the situation. Messages will be checked daily during our closure and someone on our admin team will be in the office between 9:00 am a...nd 1:00 pm, Monday - Thursday. Also feel free to reach us via email at [email protected] We will schedule emergency appointments as needed. This includes anyone with pain, bleeding or swelling.
