Happy MRT Week to our wonderful team of Medical Radiation Technologists! This week we are proud to acknowledge the essential role that MRTs play in the healthcare system. MRTs deliver professional imaging and radiation-related treatment services with a caring touch, allowing patients to fully benefit from the latest in medical diagnostic and treatment technology. Here are a few photos from the department’s socially-distanced MRT Pizza Luncheon at KGH site provided by our radi...ologists. Thank you to Marg for organizing! #MRTWeek

As we celebrate Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Week, here is a picture of our technologists with our new camera. The NM830 is a dual headed gamma camera with SPECT capabilities. With its small footprint, high sensitivity and multi-configuration options, it will be relied on to tackle the increased demands of the department. Thank you to all the Nuclear Medicine technologists at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for the great patient care you provide! #nuclearmedicine #technologists #radiology #MRT #molecularimaging #PatientCare
