Oftentimes home owners are fearful of putting hardwood floors in their kitchens because they assume its less easy to clean than tile but this is not always the case! Having wooden floors adds for another design element that can make your kitchen space look bigger and more modern. Consult with your flooring expert/provider for their input!

#KitchenDesignTip Try to design a kitchen that has areas where you can tuck small appliances like coffee makers and toasters away so they don't over-clutter the counter space. Make sure those appliances are easy to reach though for when you need to make your morning coffee or avocado toast
