D'Etcheverry Forging and Knives

Added another anvil to the shop arsenal today

Great little skinner, light weight, sharp and multiple uses, will fillet a fish or skin your harvested deer or small game. High carbon 5160 steel, acid bathed and ready for a handle. Im thinking and exoctic wood, maybe a paracord or leather for the lanyard. What do you think? Paracord would be better for survival situstions but leather will look better. The sheath will boast a farro rod loop on the side and a sharpening stone pouch on the front. I will post more pics when it is all complete.

I think my makers mark looks pretty good, these one of a kind knives and axes will be identifiable for many years to come.

A full tang hunter/bush knife and a hidden tang long puukko knife with a scandi grind in the making. The bush knife will have a full length scandi grind as well. I have some neat ideas for the handles, more progress pics to come...
