We hauled a pontoon up to Malachi today. Roads in nice shape and the Devlin Timber crew is doing some work on her, ditches, pushing back the brush and some graveling. So during the week days watch out for trucks, as we met 3 while going in and 2 while coming out.

City Wide Fire Ban in Effect as of May 15, 2018 Please be advised Kenora Fire has issued a COMPLETE FIRE BAN for the City of Kenora. All outside burning is pro...hibited, including brush and grass burning, backyard fire pits, or cook stoves that use solid fuels (wood or charcoal). BBQs that use propane are permitted with extreme caution. Burn permits have been cancelled also. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) currently has a Restricted Fire Zone in effect for most of the Northwest region. The City of Kenora fire ban will remain in effect until the Restricted Fire Zone from the MNRF is lifted.
