I would love to go back to work but I cant, our industry cant. ...When you ask us what kind of color you will need and buy that store box color just remember your putting money into the big companies pocket while we small ones are suffering. There is no way to make income from our industry right now since we are hands on. When we can come back, please remember us and please dont blame us if we need to fix your hair and it will cost more. Not only do we miss our income but we miss you. Our chats, laughter, tears, we share so much more than just a haircut. We are standing here united to stay safe but inside we are worried and stressed about our work being completely torn from us. Yes Beauty by Leah is Open! As a Skin Therapist (Esthetician) we sanitize and wash our hands constantly throughout the day. We have always coughed and sneeze...d into our elbow/arm, and most of the Skin Therapists I know have been using hospital grade disinfecting solutions since school.. I have however increased the frequency in which I use my disinfecting solution. I can wear gloves for every service i provide and I have a mask for myself. I can also offer a mask for clients to wear during their service and to take home if you like. And as a side note FYI....on the weekend I was granted special permission to do into the VG and provide footcare for 2 sweet elderly ladies, that desperately needed this care.
