For all the families that have been asking... Sadly, the Farm to School Fundraiser the Didsbury Preschool participated in for the past several years in support of our food hamper program has been cancelled due to COVID-19. Didsbury Christmas Helpers 2020 2020 has been a brutal year for so many, and now more than ever, friends and neighbours need our help. Didsbury Christmas Helpers are once again working hard to help those in need and are looking for donations from our community. If you can help, please do. It’s been a really tough year for many families and this program ensures that during this holiday season, no family goes without. ... To find out more, contact the Zion Church Tuesday to Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 403-335-3629, or message me directly. Program Details: We are in need of approximately 150 hampers to be sponsored. If you are interested in sponsoring please call: Linda Sirr at 403-607-0217 or Linda Regner at 403-335-5930 Cash donations are welcome and are used to purchase meat vouchers and additional food. All monetary donations that require a receipt should be made payable to ZEMC with Christmas Food Hampers as the notation. Dec 16 18 receiving hampers at Zion church Dec 19 hampers will be delivered Due to COVID restrictions and the number of volunteers allowed in the facility, we will not be able to have our annual wrapping night and therefore we are not going to be able to accept the donations of unwrapped gifts this year. We still want to help each family during the Christmas season and will be accepting gift cards in lieu of gifts at all of our Angel locations.
