The hubster took up cooking as a hobby a couple of years ago. At first, I was annoyed with all the things he wanted to buy for the kitchen and the endless stream of pots and pans and dishes that needed washing. He is totally a why use 2 spoons when you can use 6 kind of guy. My 16yo has a singular focus when it comes to taking photos: our dog Moon. Black dogs are so hard to capture and no matter what I do, I can never quite capture our chonky fur baby. But my kid seems to have a natural ability to recognize good lighting and an interesting angle. No matter how I present it, I can’t convince him to dig deeper into what I think is a natural talent.
