Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is red, inflamed, and dry skin. Parents usually notice dry patches of skin that become irritated, itchy, and red. Eczema affects 10-20% of children and is the most common skin condition in children. Atopic dermatitis is especially troublesome during dry and cold weather. via Kidcrew Medical #kids #health https://moka.li/3ppCBJ2

Potty training can be a stressful time for kids and their parents. They worry about accidents. We worry about accidents. We debate keeping the child in pull-up diapers or whether we should switch to underwear. What if there was a third option?... There is! If your child wants to be in big-kin underwear, but you are worried about leaks, add a small panty-liner (or cut one to the right size) and place it inside their underwear. Fewer leaks. Less stress. That's a win! Any questions? We can help! Ask below! I know well, as a mom of 4 and paediatrician, how difficult it can be to get your child or baby to have nap time during the day. And also how AMAZING it is when they do sleep each day. I am so excited to share our 4 best tips to encourage nap time!

I pumped. For YEARS. I hated it. I kind of have PTSD from the sound of the pump to be honest. A lot of people think I had excessive milk, and that it was easy for me to pump.... I wish. For my first kid, I had far too little milk, and he wouldnt take A DROP of pumped milk. Not a drop. But I had to pump to maintain my supply. I donated what I pumped. With my next three kids I was an exact-producer. I could pump pretty much what they needed, but not more. But I loved how I felt when I donated milk with my first, so I wanted to donate. Once they were sleeping from 7pm till the morning, I continued to pump at 10pm. I accumulated quite a bit after pumping for months, and was thrilled to donate to the Ontario Milk Bank. But this mom, WOW. This is an incredible woman! Good for you @thevargassusters! Much respect! (photo cred: @thevargassisters) See more

I just realized this. Pretty crazy! And incredible. But it wasn't easy. Breastfeeding my first son was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. ... Legit. Harder than medical school and residency and sleepless nights and building a business. The most emotionally draining and isolating and lonely of my life. If you have struggled with breast feeding or are struggling - I feel your pain. You are not alone. See more
