Auction will close next Saturday, December 5th at 1pm and pick up will be arranged. Item # 10 Snow much fun. This tall snowman will be great outside, let his clever socks can tell you how much it snowed. He is a delight with his authentic scarf. Made of on piece of solid wood he is about 5' 6" in height. Surprise magazine packs. Remember flipping magazines passing some down time in a comfy chair or a seeing a recipe, and dreaming about how good that new recipie will taste? Well reminisce no more. We have 30 magazine packs available at $5.00 each. A great way to reduce and reuse. They are all in good shape and have been pre packaged and sealed.

Good-bye, so long, farewell... Holy Family Parish in Sydney Mines is saying goodbye to a few of our staff... In honor of their service to the Parish. We are hosting a Retirement Celebration for Father Oliver, Deacon Greg and Sharon Iannetti. Join us for some music, a few laughs and maybe some tears too. This event will be held on Wednesday November 25th at 7:00pm BY REGISTRATION ONLY Seating is limited and you must register by calling the office.902 736-8333. All Covid restrictions are being followed. You will be required to wear a mask during the event. If you can not attend but wish to drop off a card please mark on the envelope who the card is for and we will make sure they are distributed. At the church or the office.

Surprise packs are back! Last year we offered small surprise packs for $5.00 each and they sold faster than we could make them. They are filled with a variety of treats enjoyed by ages 4+ There are 27 for girls and 4 for boys. Comment and we will take the orders first come first serve, pick up at end of the auction Saturday, December 5th, 1 pm

The Sydney Mines Community Heritage Society is hosting a drive thru visit to Santa Where: Cape Breton Fossil Discovery Center (159 Legatto Street, Sydney Mines When: December 12th, 2020 1pm to 2pm For preschool and elementary school children Directions : drive thru only, everyone is to remain in their vehicle and traffic will be directed at the site to santa and a treat bag

Use hand sanitizer, wear a mask, and sit in the designed seat that is 8 feet from the priest, or kneel behind the curtain.
