Today On, "What kind of people work with Dis'Guys?", I have another little story for you. You see, we had an interesting party not so long ago, where a mom arranged for one of our Princesses to visit her daughter London, and her friends at their local daycare for her 4th Birthday. The Daycare, being a publicly operated business, had all COVID-19 precautions in place and the Princess was allowed to enter and entertain while wearing a mask of course. ... As always, we offer free editing of your photos with every booking! When I inquired with Mom about what photos she had that we could make fabulous, there were none. You see, with Mom not in attendance, there were no real quality photos of her daughter and the Princess to mark the occasion. While very happy with our service, Mom wished she had made better arrangements to capture a photo or two. I mentioned this to the Princess later that day and she immediately volunteered to visit the little girl at home, free of charge to make her photos possible. A couple of days later after pulling a 12 hour night shift followed by a photo shoot, our Princess got on her gown and off she went. They shared tea, posed for photos and London even picked flowers from her own garden to give to her "New best friend". This is why we do what we do and we couldn't do it without the dedication, compassion and kindness of the people who work with us. People often ask what our Princesses are like, to which I always respond, "Well, they are not REAL Princesses, they are actually angels Dis'Guysed as Princesses" If you took a minute to read this post, I hope you can take a second to share it. This post is a little late but still one of my favourite ones to make every year. You see, this is customer #0001 When mom and dad run a costume and character appearance business, keeping things on the down low and keeping the magic real, rivals that of a secret identity. It has become very much a Peter Parker or Clarke Kent type situation.... Sneaking costumes in and out of the house, always "missing" the arrival of characters at theirs and there friends parties, and having to come up with creative explanations as to why there are always princesses dropping by the house. Im not sure we could possibly have any more fun with this then we already do and it is all thanks to this little guy inspiring us to do something different that would make children smile. T-ball, as a sport, is a major focus while developing skills and habits that will last a life time. Its not just about T-ball....
