On this day, 3 years ago, the Dis Tune Records Projects was officially launched! The first precursor concepts for the Label date back to early 2015, I grew up as any musician does, with idols, people that you look up to and inspire you. I found, as I grew older, that I was not only finding inspiration from solely the musicians themselves, but the Labels and Teams behind them. How the teams worked together and grew, and how unique niches of sound came to be. Thats essent...ially when the interest first struck me to create a brand that represented the dark breed of electronic music I had been personally creating and experimenting with. Something that other like minded musicians, producing similar concepts, would be able to relate to, work with, and achieve similar goals. Back in 2017, some of my closest friends and my self came together, finding that we all were making very different types of music, but still all breeds with a dark electronic over tone. It was then we decided, with the shared idea of pursuing and releasing our music together, to untie under one banner, Hence Dis Tune Records was created. Since then, so much has happened, we’ve experienced and gone through many changes in each of our members lives, to say its been quite the adventure thus far, would be an understatement! But still, the main concepts of what we want to achieve stay true, yet have only grown further than we first had imagined they ever could. Now, it’s 2020, and we find ourselves in a very different world then the one we were in when we first set out on this journey. Over this last year, we have been working on so much new content, from the projects you know, and whole new projects as well, so much planned, and we have lots to share with you all soon! Thank You to everyone who has stuck with us and supported us over these last years, it means the world to us and more, everyone that considers themselves a part of the Dis Tune Family, we are forever grateful to each and every one of you! A Big Shout Out to the Dusk2Dawn Productions, everything over the last 3 years wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for you, and we are all so thankful in so many ways, we owe it all to the D2D Family! 2020 has been far from what anyone had expected this year to be. We’re seeing a time of great change and a shift in mental awareness around the world. The Dis Tune Records Team all share in a mutual understanding of respect and equality. We will never stand with injustice or accept racism. Together, this world can be changed, for the better. We will be avidly striving to ensure that we will not work alongside or support any group/organization or individual, that discriminat...es against Race, Religion, or Gender. We will not support a corrupt system. The reality of the situation is something we’re currently still seeing develop and unfold, and there is still truly no telling what the world of tomorrow will look like. Our Hearts and deepest condolences go out to those who have suffered, lost, and been impacted in these troubling times. There will always be a tomorrow and we have plans for the future. The world we once knew has changed and we are to change with it. We have some more info and announcements coming soon! So, As Always! Stay Tuned!
