W A N T T O H E A R A J O K E ? On second thoughts, perhaps I shouldnt joke on here about boiling water, it might get too steamy. . What! Are my jokes not funny enough? Well then, off you go! Our kitchen counters on an average day are used and abused from all the long conversations and delicious food being made, so we dont want to clutter it with so many different things t...hat only get in our way! BUT we also dont want it to look bare and empty especially if you have a bigger counter space like ours, it can feel cold very quickly! . So lets start with something simple! ADD SOME GREENERY OR FLOWERS! Its the season for it and it looks gorgeous! ADD SOME KITCHEN ITEMS (Cutting boards, knife block, tea pot, cake display, cook book, utensil holder, rolling pin, fruit bowl etc) It will add to the comfort of the space! ADD A TOUCH OF PERSONALITY (For us, we have a photo on the tech counter off to the left that I couldnt get in this photo and we will be adding a large pot with spring florals on the counter once they come in! . Your home is a reflection of you & people see that when they come over! FOR US! I love white (obvi!) And rose gold, the boyfriend loves black and wood! So I found a way to have the heart of our home reflect us both in a modern way SO FAR!! . If you need advice or would like a little help with your kitchen.. We have MASSIVE windows and very tall ceilings with nothing to fill the space yet and our home doesnt yet feel like a home because our walls are still pretty bare! . Long story short, he was so in love with the moss wall we designed at one of my commercial projects at the Dental Clinic, that he wanted one for himself!! So we compromised and I get to add a ...little white in the border and in the table and he gets his green and wood accents on the wall with black dishware!! #TBT Well I since I havent posted about my old place in a while! . Turning a small space into something beautiful can be tricky! I definitely did not want to use "apartment sized" pieces when I decorated this space (its over 1000 square feet) but I didnt want to make it feel cramped! So by using whites and a lot of reflective colors, mirrors and sticking to a neutral accent pallet, I was able to make the space look larger than it did with nothing in it at all! . A BACHELORS PARADISE We started with a 1 bedroom, blank canvas in a new build in St. Albert and finished with this custom, modern-industrial design! This client only saught to bring his beloved green plants along so everything that you see was purchased to compliment the space and of course the style of my client! This space is only 825 square feet..! Surprising, I know! . The feature wall is custom fit with a 60" Tv and mounted surround sound, LED backlighting, an 8 f...oot LED electric fireplace with color changing crystals, a custom maple ledge and custom stone work! . The floating bedroom furniture was custom designed and the amazing product was built by Tyler in Edmonton! . This project was such a pleasure to complete and I am so incredibly thrilled with the finished product! .
