Got back to finish the rails on this deck in Mount Hope, was a full day with daylight savings time in effect! But clients were thrilled! The open section of railing on the landing is for the coming hot tub, lucky folks! I hope they invite me over for a soak!

Latest cedar deck project in Burlington. Client wants a forever build. Deck flash joist wrap installed on all flat frame surfaces. Pre finished cedar on all faces using Cutex extreme oil in black ash and espresso tint. Privacy screen and skirting in a varied with running pattern. Just aluminum railing to go on tomorrow.

Dismantled old deck last week and got new proper footings drilled and poured. Back today got frame rebuilt, new proper beams on bigger 6x6 posts, reused existing joists for environmental and economic savings. Decking went down fast with the Makita auto-feed walking screw gun! Back Monday to tackle landing, stairs and railing!

Couple hard days turned a slab of concrete into a nice garage for a buddy in Toronto! Roofers capped it of this morning, just needs the big door installed.
