ABIA YEAR IN REVIEW: Beautification The impact on COVID-19 on this year’s events meant additional funding could be used for marketing and beautification In addition to our signage projects, you may have noticed our beautiful flower planters throughout the downtown core. In 2021 more will be ordered to add to the beautification to our community. ... We have also been able to add to our seasonal décor with street displays for the fall season and winter. Garland and holiday swags have added to the light poles to add to the festive atmosphere of the downtown core through the holiday season. Again, this year we thank Fred Somerville of Somerville Nurseries for donating Christmas trees to line our streets.

By providing jobs, donating to events, supporting our local hospital, schools artists and teams these small business owners help to build a great community. Some of our businesses deemed essential are open for walk in, others are offering curbside pick up and delivery. #downtownalliston #MakeItNewTec
