It's here it's here it's here! Registration for the 3rd annual Rejuvenate Retreat is now open! We are changing up the location this year and will be in a beautiful private cottage on a lake. Seriously, it's gorgeous. There will be crafts, yoga, a wellness talk and grief counselling, along with plenty of free time to relax, eat, drink and chat with other women who understand how hard infertility and pregnancy loss can be. As always, space is limited so please sign up quickly if you want to attend! http://www.dreamsoflullabies.ca/p/rejuvenate-retreat.html
This article speaks so much truth. Not everyone in the loss community gets a rainbow baby and yet it is often not talked about. It’s time to talk more about it. My husband and I tried for over 5 years to have a baby and experienced 4 heartbreaking losses. Our rainbow baby did not come and we have had to try and heal from the grief of our journey. It is a constant battle and like was mentioned in this article, we now sometimes feel like our loss community isn’t even safe for us. Are you also grieving the pain of not having a rainbow baby come after the pain of your loss? If it would help, share you story below or send me a private message. Your story matters.
If you need someone to just sit there and listen and say "I get it", then maybe joining a support group is for you. We're meeting next Tuesday, February 5th from 7-9pm. If you want to join us, message me for the location. #infertility #miscarriage #infertilitysupportgroup #pregnancyloss #dreamsoflullabies
Secondary infertility is something not often talked about, because sadly it is often overlooked. The feelings that come with it are real and valid and need to be acknowledged. This blog post touches on some of the emotions that come with secondary infertility and what to do with them.
Christmas can be hard. Take care of yourself. And if you end up ugly crying on your kitchen floor or locked in a bathroom at a family event, know you are not alone. #christmascanbehard #infertilityandtheholidays #miscarriage #realselfcare
Come on out to a peer led support group, where we will drink tea, eat snacks and chat about the difficulties infertility and pregnancy loss bring into your life. #dreamsoflullabies #supportgroup #peerledsupport #allwelcome #ptbocanada

I think I need to frame this. And then put it somewhere that I will see it every day. Because despite the fact that my life does not look like I thought it would, it's still a good life. That is something I want to focus more on, enjoying the here and now instead of wishing time away. What about you? Have you mastered the celebrating of life or are you in a constant struggle like me? #happiness #wishingtimeaway #celebratethelifeyouhave #infertilitymakesthingshard #miscarriagemakesthingshard #dreamsoflullabies

This is a local workshop coming up put on by Serenity Doula Care. It looks like it should be a good event!
