To our clients and community, Covid-19 has been a difficult time for all of us. We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our `normal` routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same; our commitment to your safety. We understand that many of you have been forced to wait for dental care and we deeply appreciate your under...standing in this situation. Dr. Nikfar wants to ensure that you are aware of what steps and guidelines we are taking to protect our staff and our patients. You will see Dr. Nikfar and the staff wearing gowns and face shields now, along with appropriate mask levels for your treatment appointment. Air filtration and purification units with Ultraviolet lights are used in each room that can remove particles smaller than the Covid-19 virus. Clear panels will be in place at the front desk to protect against sneeze droplets. All contact surfaces of the dental office will be wiped with a disinfectant continuously. We will continue to practice social distancing measures in the common areas of the office at all times. Upon your arrival at the office, you will be asked to remain in your vehicle or outside the office until your scheduled appointment time. Upon entering you will be asked to approach the front desk, use hand sanitizer and complete a Covid-19 screening form followed by getting your temperature taken with an infrared thermometer. Any patients showing signs of a fever or other symptoms of illness will be asked to reschedule their appointment. Our team will strictly follow guidelines set forth by CDC, public health, and our dental governing bodies. Attention all patients: To date, Dr. F. Nikfar and staff show no signs of COVID-19 infection. However, as health care providers, we feel it is important to follow public health recommendations to help prevent transmission in the community. The BC College of Dental Surgeons now recommends that all non-essential medical and dental treatment be postponed. We understand the impact of cancelled appointments, however, our priority has and always will be the health and safety of ...our patients, staff, and community. For this reason, we are reinforcing social distancing as the most effective way to prevent viral transmission. Our doors will remain closed until further notice. BEFORE & AFTER This patient wasnt happy with his smile. Having had multiple restorations done on the teeth and discolouration, it was time for a R E V A M P. Options were discussed and the patient decided to go with crowns! Having a crown already on the upper left canine, and a perfectly healthy canine on the upper right, we decided to crown only the centrals and laterals. #Shade matching was difficult in this case, but our friends down at #robertshawlab helped... us out by doing a CUSTOM shade match- giving us a very natural result!
