DRIFTWOOD BEACH PARK - UPDATE ON STAGE 2 COVID-19 GUIDELINES - JUNE 12, 2020 Hi Campers - just a quick update regarding the Provincial guidelines for Stage 2. Social gathering size restrictions have been increased from 5 to 10 people but must still maintain a two-metre physical distance with people outside of their household. This unfortunately means that visitors or guests to our registered seasonal campers are still not permitted at this time.... Stage 2 guidelines have given permission to campgrounds to offer overnight camping. Driftwood Beach Park has chosen to keep this small portion of our business closed for now. Driftwood Beach Park is in Huron County which does not presently have a mandatory face-mask policy. Wellington County our neighbour to the east does. Please check the guidelines for any areas you plan to visit. All public buildings, recreation halls, laundry and washroom facilities, and playgrounds remain closed at this time. The beaches and tennis courts are open. We continue to re-evaluate on a weekly basis and will provide updates as necessary. Thanking you in advance for your ongoing support in keeping our staff and campers safe and healthy. Yours in Camping, The Driftwood Team.

Dear Campers, In these uncertain times we thought it would be nice to give something back. So, on Saturday our whole family of six walked and photographed the entire park ( while practicing social distancing). We took at least two photographs of each occupied site and looked for any signs of damage from the outside. We understand that this is not as thorough as each of you doing it on your own but we hope it will give you some peace of mind. There was only one trailer tha...t we found that had sustained significant damage and they have been contacted already so no need to worry, This damage was not associated in any way with the vandalism to a few trailers/sheds in one area of the 300 section. If you would like the pictures of your trailer/shed they can be requested by e-mail only from [email protected] Please be patient as we have more than 600 high resolution photographs to manage and distribute, your patience is appreciated. We would like to thank everyone for staying home as directed and to remind the few that have chosen to disregard this directive that we do have security in place. Stay home and stay safe! The Driftwood Team

COVID-19 Update April 9, 2020 Dear Campers, We all have a role to play in stopping the spread of COVID-19.... We understand that everyone is anxious to return to "normal" but we do not have that luxury at this time. The Ontario government has deemed that seasonal campgrounds are non-essential. This requires us by law to remain closed until further notice. Enforcement agencies have been empowered to ensure that we are closed. Fines of up to $500,000 can be levied for non-compliance. https://perlaw.ca///ontarios-list-of-essential-businesses/ Driftwood Beach Park is closed. The property will remain closed until the government announces that we can open. Admittance to Driftwood Beach Park property is NOT ALLOWED until regulations change and notice is posted. Stay home and stay safe! The Driftwood Team

The Park office and main gates remain locked and all recreation halls, public washrooms and laundry facilities are locked and closed until further notice. We strongly discourage you from visiting the Park but if you need to come in to check your trailer, park your vehicle and walk in from the main entrance. We are not allowing anyone to stay at their trailers for an extended period of time or overnight as per Driftwood Beach Park Policy (Driftwood Beach Park will monitor this) If you require assistance please email [email protected] Thank you for your cooperation.
