Sugar is such a big topic in January with so many people making nutrition changes. Did you know that intake surveys from the Canadian Community Health Survey (CCHS) 2015, found that consumption of total sugars in Canada was 101 grams for children aged 2 to 8, 115 grams for children aged 9 to 18, and 85 grams for adults. I was shocked by how much sugar children are getting! I would consider a healthy range to be significantly lower: 25-30 grams per day. Take a look at this article, and let me know how you're doing with sugar: https://drshawnadarou.com//can-you-limit-your-sugar-intak/

True - low progesterone can impact your mood and sleep, especially if you notice more of this the week before your period. It’s also a big reason why women in perimenopause feel more sensitive to stress and often have sleep disruptions. Progesterone is easy to test and assess - this is the first place to start.
