I will be back in clinic as of Tuesday, November 17, 2020. Slowly recovering from surgery but happy to get back to patient care. I want to share my appreciation for the incredible team of nurses and physicians who took care of me during my surgery and hospital stay in Drumheller. Thank you. Dr. V. Ram.

The Ram Family is sad to announce, that due to climbing numbers of COVID-19 in Drumheller and area, they have had to cancel the Movie Showing that was planned for Diwali this coming weekend. But on a lighter note, the Fireworks display is still a go!! Just a reminder if you attend the fireworks show, please remember to practice Social Distancing, wear a mask, or stay in your vehicles. We hope you all enjoy this display of the Ram's kickoff to the "FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS"

Lauren is a medical student from the University of Calgary joining the Riverside Medical Clinic for the next year as a part of her training. Throughout medical school, Lauren has been involved with student led simulation education and advocacy work integrating interdisciplinary trauma informed care education into the medical school curriculum. She looks forward to continuing this work and being involved with opportunities in the Drumheller community as well. Prior to medical ...school, Lauren completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick. She grew up in rural, northern Alberta, but has lived in many cities in various countries and is looking forward to settling in Drumheller next. When Lauren is not busy with school, you can find her hiking in the mountains, dancing in a ballet studio, or biking on any trails she can find. She is excited to join the team in Drumheller and meet the community over the coming year

Good morning Facebook friends! Riverside Medical will be closing a little early today due to Server Maintenance. We will close at 4pm and re-open Monday morning at 8:30am. We hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe and healthy!

Dear Riverside Medical Family: As you may have seen on the news and on our website, Alberta has entered the first phase of relaunch. We have enhanced our infection control protocols above and beyond the basic requirements to protect our patients and our staff as we begin seeing patients in clinic again. For the time being, we are only booking certain types of visits in-person and the majority will continue to be virtual or telephone consults.... Some clinic changes you will notice when here for in-person appointments: You will be contacted the morning of your appointment to perform a pre-appointment screening. You will also receive an email CoVID screening questionnaire to minimize the use of Ocean tablets in office. Our reception desk has been beautified by plexiglass barriers and youll notice fancy duct tape marking on the floor to encourage physical distancing. New patient flow with immediate rooming to adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Staff and physicians sporting popular personal protective equipment. We kindly ask that all patients wear a mask. You may bring your own, or we can provide one for you. After each appointment, we will clean and disinfect all rooms and high touch surfaces in common areas. All procedural equipment will be sterilized. Moreover, our staff will continuously self-monitor for any symptoms and will complete a daily fit-for-work assessment. Please continue to monitor our website and Facebook page for any changes, and if you have and questions or concerns regarding our new protocols, please do not hesitate to contact us via telephone or email. Our goal is to provide continuous care with minimal disruptions as we navigate these unchartered waters.
