Having a rough night. Quite sore but who would have thought heart surgery would result in tailbone pain? I wiped out years ago and I think I probably broke the ol' coccyx (as many of us do) and on occasion the pain will really flare up - well, this is definitely one of those times! Ye-ouch! Darn it!
So, hubby and I went over my final report this morning and as it turns out, my valve was only opening less than half of what it should have been! That is frightening! It is such a good thing we made the decision for me to quit working and focus on my health, I think if I had forced myself to continue, I would have ended up in total heart failure! It makes me shudder! No wonder I was in a constant fog!!!
Anybody who had my Aunt Laurena as their PSW was a very lucky person! I sooooo appreciated the hair wash and special bath she gave me when I arrived home yesterday and all the little tricks she taught me! She took good care of my Mom and now me! Everybody should have a Laurena in their lives! <3
Now here comes the bruising and swelling! Can I get a boy howdy!!!!
Physiotherapist told me not to be afraid of any shortness of breath as I slowly get back into shape, moving forward. This is where the psychological part of this begins...I was VERY afraid of it before!
