We are trudging away and making the best of a very bad situation, but we are not the hardest hit because of the support we receive from you. There are many others far worse off than Duke & Devine’s. Here is a picture of the building housing Duke & Devine’s Irish Pub in the 1950s. Monsieur Godin, the businessman, father and Beaconsfiel resident operating Godin & Fils Store and Butcher at the time, used to host square dancing and corn roast evenings for the community. I am glad that during normal times, Duke & Devine’s tries to keep that community spirit alive in our Beaurepaire Village.

Beautifully creamy turkey pot pie topped with classic Christmas stuffing and served with a homemade cranberry sauce. Here is a fun but true story; The first time Chef Phil created this culinary masterpiece was for a weekend special! As he always does, Phil prepared a plate of this wondrous meal to take a picture and for the staff to try! I was on my way out the door and while I normally don't ever indulge in sampling because I am heading home for supper, I had to try at least one bite! Well I had a bite and after the 1st bite I proceeded to have all of the other bites and left nothing on the plate it was so so so good! I could not be rude and tell my family I ate without them so I fibbed a little and had a second supper!
