Dear Customers, As the Provincial Health Orders have been extended, we thought we should update you on what is going on at Duncan Lanes. We are open for Public Bowling only at this time. As league bowling is not allowed, we are closed on Tuesdays and are on slightly reduced hours. Like everywhere else, masks are mandatory at all times, except if you are seated and actively eating or drinking. This includes while on the lanes bowling. We suggest only going bowling with your im...mediate household or core bubble. We are continuing to ask you to make reservations for bowling by calling 250-746-5421, but we will be limiting each reservation to a maximum of 6 people (1 lane). We do still welcome drop ins as long as lanes are available. All of our other safety measures are still in effect. Dear League Bowlers, As the Provincial Health Order was extended again this morning, we are still unable to offer league bowling at this time. If restrictions are eased for March, our plan going forward is to continue with a shortened season that will end in May. If we are not able to return to league play in March, we will distribute our prize funds in the same manner as we did when the season ended early in 2020. If this is the case, we will offer some new Spring and Summe...r short season, fun format league programs as soon as we are able. Dear League and Public bowlers, The provincial health orders have been extended until at least February 5th. That means that we are not able to offer league bowling until at least that time. To all of our League Bowlers, After reviewing the health update today, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all of our league play for two weeks. Although we are technically still able to offer leagues as they are indoor sports, we feel that the intent of the health order around limiting social interactions obliges us to take a break for the safety of our customers and staff. We will continue to offer distanced public bowling for same household or core bubble grou...ps if you would like to come in and practice. We will reevaluate league play on Monday, December 7th.
