East Coast Wellness Clinic is growing our team of manual therapists! Our well-appointed, collaborative space currently provides massage therapy and osteopathy services. We are seeking additional massage therapists, osteopaths and an acupuncturist. The pursuit to expand disciplines on offer is echoed by interest from our clients. ECWC is located in a high-traffic location just south of Spring Garden Road. The configuration of the clinic space is able to accommodate an...d adhere to Covid PPE guidelines and standards. Positions are being offered on a contract basis, and as such require that applicants carry personal liability insurance. ECWC uses Jane software for booking and billing. Familiarity with this system is an asset but not required. At ECWC, we pride ourselves on the fundamental pillars of: Community-minded approach . A timely approach to scheduling. Connection and relationship building. Learning and growth. ECWC acknowledges the vital need for manual practitioners who more accurately represent the diversity of our client base. Rachel is a Registered Acupuncturist who grew up in New Brunswick; she has made Halifax her home for the better part of 8 years and has chosen to make her roots as a health care practitioner here. She approaches the practice gently and with an open heart, making her best effort to celebrate the intuitive and poetic nature of the energetic work. She works hard to hold appropriate space for any individual wherever they may be in t...heir healing journey. Rachel believes the body is constantly sending us clues and messages to let us know what it needs; using acupuncture she tries her best to help clients decipher that language. Outside of her practice Rachel has a deep appreciation and interest in nature, nutrition, yoga and literature and hopes these things enrich how she can show up as a practitioner.
