Islanders home game scheduled for Nov. 20th POSTPONED!
Following further conversations between the Charlottetown Islanders and Prince Edward Island Government, it has been decided by both parties that Quebec Major J...unior Hockey League (QMJHL) regular season play will not take place during the duration of PEI's two-week change to the Atlantic Provinces Travel Bubble. This collective decision was made in the best interest of all PEI residents and Charlottetown Islanders fans. COVID-19 is a fluid situation that continues to evolve by the minute; it has forced us to change course again and adjust our schedule over the next two weeks.
REMINDER: We now play at home the next two Wednesday nights! These are games that have been re-scheduled following adjustments to the QMJHL schedule. For our ga...me this Wednesday, November 18th against Halifax, use the ticket for the December 28th game, Game 13. For our game on November 25th against Bathurst, use the ticket for the December 30th game, Game 14. See more

Health PEI has announced the Charlottetown COVID-19 screening clinic will relocate to 64 Park St. effective Monday, September 28th.
Charlottetown Civic Centre Management Inc (CCCMI), the governing body of Eastlink Centre Charlottetown , has been working closely with the Charlottetown Islande...rs with respect to the upcoming Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) 2020-21 season. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to countless challenges since its arrival and has required cooperation and creative solutions across all aspects of daily life. The City of Charlottetown was thrilled to hear of the confirmed return of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League 2020-21 season as of October 1, said Charlottetown Mayor Philip Brown . The municipality has a long-standing relationship with the League and looks forward to a continued prosperous partnership between the Birthplace of Confederation, the Charlottetown Islanders, and the QMJHL. For the past few months, a COVID-19 Testing Clinic and Cough and Fever Clinic have been operating out of Eastlink Centre Charlottetown in both the arena and trade centre. Health PEI and the Prince Edward Island Government Department of Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy have been working diligently with CCCMI on establishing a departure plan, with both clinics agreeing to end their operations at Eastlink Centre Charlottetown by September 30. The clinics will be relocating to alternate venues after this date. In order to accommodate preparations for Eastlink Centre Charlottetown’s return to operations, a three-week turnover period will be required for sanitization, maintenance, logistics, and reinstating ice operations. CCCMI has been in ongoing communication with the Charlottetown Islanders with respect to this plan, and it has been mutually agreed upon that the Islanders will play their first few games of the season on the road, returning to Eastlink Centre Charlottetown for home ice play by October 23, 2020. The Islanders will be hosting their 2020-21 training camp at Charlottetown’s Bell Aliant Centre. The Charlottetown Islanders are an important component of Charlottetown’s annual sport and entertainment offerings, said Councillor Kevin Ramsay, Chair of the City’s Economic Development, Tourism, and Event Management Committee. In addition to being the anchor tenant for Eastlink Centre Charlottetown, Islanders’ play stimulates tourism and economic prosperity for the capital city. Over the years, the Charlottetown Islanders have brought much excitement to Eastlink Centre Charlottetown, not only by regular season and playoff action, but also by working directly with the municipality to host two editions of the QMJHL Annual Session and Entry Draft, and most recently the CIBC Canada-Russia Series. Charlottetown is a proud CHL city and wishes the Charlottetown Islanders the best of luck in their upcoming season. Go Isles Go!
Great news! The Chief Public Health Office (CPHO) has approved up to a maximum of five cohorts (one cohort of On-Ice participants, one cohort in dressing rooms, and three cohorts of spectators) of 50 each for minor sport & adult user group ice rentals.
