Why aren't there temperature checks at schools? Do siblings of students notified of exposures also have to self isolate? What do the notification letters from F...raser Health actually mean? If our household includes an individual who is immunocompromised or elderly, and our school has an exposure, should I keep my child at home? Discover the answers to these questions and many more with a special Q&A session between Superintendent Jordan Tinney and Fraser Health's Dr. Ingrid Tyler, Medical Health Officer & Medical Director of Population and Public Health. Watch as Supt. Tinney asks parent questions -- and find out the science behind the policies and procedures in place. *Captions generated by Facebook*

My name is Emily Chen, the Outreach officer for Semiahmoo Study Circle (a non-profit organization led by Semi Students) and we want to share an opportunity with fellow secondary schools in the Surrey District. During this pandemic, our team has all personally experienced the difficulties of remote learning, and we realized how much harder learning has become. We understand that the schools and teachers are all doing as much as they can but we also want to help out by using o...ur knowledge and experiences and make learning easier. The Semi Study Circle has found younger students who are struggling with school or remote learning and need extra help, and we are hoping to recruit more secondary students who share a common mission of helping younger students to join our team! All of the tutoring hours will count as volunteer or service hours. So, to further our goal and provide opportunities for your students, we hope you can spread the word about our organization within your school and to anyone who might want to join our team! Here’s the link to our website (https://www.semistudycircle.com/) All registration forms or additional information can be found there. Thank you so much for your time! Best Regards, Emily Chen
