Covid changed me. Covid Made me realize that my family is the important thing in the world, my core. I love my friends.. catching up with them via text is good enough, because their family is there priority, and they understand. ... Covid has taught me that I need to set limits and boundaries. I am my best advocate and I am strong! No, I'm not ready to open my bubble and I dont need to explain why...integrity! Covid has taught me that I don't need to go shopping at winners or browse through HomeSense on the weekly. Covid has taught me that I'm a good cook! I don't need to go to a restaurant, I need to buy wholesome food and make it myself. Covid has me building Jake's science and math knowledge. He has exceeded any expectations, So Proud. I am so proud of him and his "Jake Bakes"! His personality has leaped bounds and I could not be more proud! Did I say PROUD?! That being said, covid has taught me to support local! To order pizza from Fabios Pizzeria or body treats from SARAH'S SOAPS . Covid has taught me that board games replace Facebook, that baking as a family replaces work, that giggles replace Instagram. Covid has taught me that a schedule is a beautiful thing. I CAN keep up with laundry! Covid has taught me how to appreciate the little things and make them happen!... making pancakes and not worrying that I have to rush to work. Watching a movie at 8 p.m. and not worrying about a bedtime... Christmas in June...literally stockings were stuffed and a tree was hung, tents built in the basement and spaghetti for breakfast!
