This is our first Spring Bus trip and we will be heading out to the Royal Tyrrell Museum; it is the centre for paleontological research in Alberta and has a collection of more than 130,000 fossils, including Albertosaurus, Triceratops and even the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex. Spend the morning in the museum and journey through time and come face-to-face with some of Canada’s mightiest dinosaurs. You can pack a family picnic and enjoy it outside in the picnic area by the Cenovus Paleo Play Park. Then you can explore the badlands along several hiking trails that begin just outside the Museum’s main entrance, or register for the Museum’s guided Seven Wonders of the Badlands hike.
