2020/21 SEASON ENDS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY The Avonair Curling Club Board of Directors has decided to end the 2020/21 season effective immediately. While this de...cision was not made lightly, it will allow us to keep any further expenses related to keeping the ice in unused, and allowing us to look forward to this spring and summer for any rentals and ultimately looking forward to making next season great for you! We hope all of you are doing well and taking good care of yourselves. This past season was a bit strange to say the least; the use of masks, 1 sweeper only, physical distancing, and not being able to socialise off the ice with your opponents were all changes we brought in. We want to thank all of you who took the time to learn and to practice these policies you made it possible for us to be able to curl for as long as we did. You are very important to us and so we ask that you continue to try and stay safe and healthy. Remember that if you are facing a difficult time right now, it is best to reach out to friends, family, or seek services offered by your community. We WILL get back on the ice in the future, but it will take some time. While we are waiting, sit back and crack open a cold one!
