Please remove this post if not appropriate. When I founded the GO centre project starting in 2002, a cornerstone was that the building would always remain a pu...blic building. I raised $34M in public money and other private donations, including from Mr. Saville. We had the land (and free parking) at John Fry Park. The University approached us to build at south campus. My number one ask was the same free parking. Second was control of the building by the community. Both for the life time of the building. An in perpetuity joint venture agreement was signed and we opened in 2011. I’m not sure in 9 years of operating one person has commented that the parking is adequate. Yet today we (you) are facing a reduction. If this concerns you consider communicating with the University. I’ll leave it at that. This is not the time to be idle. It’s your building to protect.
