We dropped off knitted scarves & hats and warm essentials this weekend to Bear Clan Patrol Edmonton Beaver Hills House. This wonderful group of volunteers take to the streets weekly and hand-deliver essentials to our City's vulnerable folks. They accept warm clothing every Wed. & Sun. 5-6pm at Alberta Avenue Community League, check out their Facebook page for more info. Help keep the community warm this Winter! Over the past few years, a wonderful group of EDBRC members have got together to knit hats and scarves to give away to charitable organizations. The knitting group isn't gathering this year due to COVID-19, but members are still knitting privately and are always accepting donations for yarn and/or knitted hats/scarves. After a recent new article the club has received a number of concerned messages. Just to clarify, our cock is not damaged and is doing just fine. Our dock landing on the other hand can use a little fixing up after the recent ice jam and high water. We are working hard to clean and repair it in time for if and when the club can open.
