UPDATE: Our Pawliday 50/50 raffle is now sold out! Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets to help us care for animals like Silver Our Pawliday 50/50 raffle is back for a 2nd weekend! Your support helps give homeless companion animals a warm place to stay and the care they need until they find new homes animals like Silver the 4-month-old puppy. Silver came into our shelter missing patches of fur and barely putting weight on his right hind leg. This sweet young pup wa...s diagnosed with demodex, also known as mange, and x-rays revealed a rare injury in not one, but both hind legs. Silver had fractured both tibias near his knee completely separating the end of the bone. At his young age, this was likely due to a trauma such as a fall. Silver underwent surgery with a specialized veterinarian who re-attached the bone with wires and pins. During his recovery, Silver was hand-fed by our team and assisted with walking in a sling, while his pain was managed with medication and his demodex treated. With an abundance of TLC, this tough little guy was standing again within a week of his surgery! Silver received this much needed medical attention thanks to animal lovers like you, and is now spending the holidays with his new family. You can help animals like Silver by purchasing tickets for our Pawliday 50/50 Raffle. But hurry, as it's already 75% sold! Get your tickets here --> https://bit.ly/346ixT4 Lottery License #570064. Players must reside in Alberta and be 18 years or older.
