ESPS student artist Ella recently sent us her interpretation of Burgmuller's "By the Limpid Stream" for our Storytellers project. Ella noted that "listening to this piece reminds me of sitting by a clear stream watching the frogs and the fish dance under the still water." We think you've captured that feeling entirely, Ella!
On this cold Thursday, it's fun to look back at the wonderful Winspearish concert that ESPS musicians Emily, Sara and Cole hosted in the summer. They and some of their Suzuki musician friends (including ESPS pianist Sophia and her brother) performed a socially distanced concert for their neighbourhood friends and family. Bravo!
The student musicians at ESPS are some of the most creative people we know, and several recently shared their artistic interpretations of the music they are learning through our Storytellers project. This work from ESPS student Weiran was inspired by "Venetian Gondola Song" by Mendelssohn and features a gondola on the Grand Canal of Venice, with Santa Maria della Salute in the background. Beautiful!

The gang is back together and Rhonda's Group B is ready for another year of online fun!
Does it get more committed than this? ESPS student Michael and his mom take in a group class with ESPS teacher Rhonda from the back of their car on a night packed with activities.
Some group classes are beginning soon! ESPS teacher Gail created these fun activity packs for her younger students to use doing virtual group classes. How lucky are we to have such wonderful teachers?
We're ready for a new year at Edmonton Suzuki Piano School!
