Please be advised that the Nordegg River and the Brazeau River (downstream of the Brazeau reservoir) has been closed to fishing indefinitely due to a "significant" chlorine spill. https://calgaryherald.com//significant-chemical-spill-shut This is terrible news for our fisheries. The Nordegg River is a beautiful little river with Bull Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Rocky Mountain Whitefish, Pike & Walleye.... Will post more news when it becomes available.
