Educate the Children 15.01.2021

I hope everyone is staying home, washing their hands, and sanitizing. We must defeat this pandemic but we all must do our part for that to happen. Stay safe and take care of your loved ones, at least those that you can see. We must stay strong and be resilient.

Thank you! Posted @withregram @paulneduosuji And I've always loved taking amazing photographs. So I Volunteered as a professional photographer on August 2017 at the Educate the Children Project being pioneered by @liz.akano.35 and the Educate the Children Community in Ontario Canada. It's a pleasure being part of the Team and hoping to see the Project completed soon. Support @educatethechildren to help bridge the gap in Education.... #educatethechild #educatetheworld #paulchineduosuji #entrepreneur #socialservice

Educate The Children 2020 UPDATE: As a result of Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown that followed, we were not able to visit the site of our project this year but construction continued on the site, thanks to our volunteer engineer who was on the ground and was able to supervise work this August. During this phase VI of the project, we were able to complete external wiring and electrical fixtures, the ceiling, and over 85% of the terrazzo flooring. Unfortunately, we were not ...able to complete and open the school as originally planned, again as a result of the unprecedented challenges created by the pandemic. We need your help now more than ever. We understand the financial strain imposed to families by the pandemic but if you are able to support this project, please visit our Gofundme page at https://gf.me/u/yvq27y A charitable receipt will be issued for the amount of the donation and emailed to your address. Thank you all for your continued support. We could not do it without your support. Educate The Children Board Members | Director of Communications

Liz Akano, chair of the board of Educate the Children was not able to go down to supervise our project this year due to the pandemic but we were able to provide the much needed hope and job for the local people. They worked on the while observing social distancing. We also provided them with masks to wear when social distancing was not possible. This summer, we were able to complete external wiring, ceiling, and Terrazzo flooring. We are geared up for our 2020 fundraising ca...mpaign. Unfortunately, that will not include our annual Harvest of Hope that was schedule to take place on October 24, 2020. We had to cancel this event following the COVID protocols. We need your support now more than ever. We need to raise funds to complete the project. What is left? Painting and furnishing. Please help us. No amount is too small. You can donate through PapPal, Candahelps.org, www.educatethechildren.ca, or our GoFundMe page. Thank you for your continued support.
