Monday is the LAST day to get your application in for a seasonal site this summer! You must include a copy of your trailer's registration, the $500 deposit, and the application form! You can drop off your application at the EID office in their drop box to the left of the north doors. Only 44 days until we're open... but who's counting!

Less than 2 weeks to get your seasonal site applications in for this season! We have 35 sites available, 18 for water users and 17 for the public. Application forms are available on our website at www.eid.ca/rhrcampground.html. Remember to attach a copy of your trailer's registration! Less than two months until we're open! Woot, woot!

It's almost time to get back on the lake and enjoy the water! Reminder to check-in at the campground office with your watercraft (including kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes) when entering the campground to register for the EID's Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention Program. We had just over 850 watercraft register at the campground last year and over 4400 in the entire District! Let's keep the reservoir clean and free of AIS so we're able to enjoy the campground for many years to come. For more information please visit https://www.eid.ca/ais.html.

The news you've all been waiting for! We will be opening May 14 and closing September 30, weather permitting. There is a total of 35 seasonal sites available that will be awarded through the draw in April and 110 first come, first serve sites. Seasonal site applications and boat slip applications are now available on our website at www.eid.ca/rhrcampground.html under the 'Documents' tab! We also have application packages available at the EID office but make sure you call (403...) 362-1400 before going as they are still closed to the public. Rolling Hills Reservoir Campground 16.03.2021

We all know you're anxious to know about the upcoming season... but we're not quite ready to announce everything.... YET. But very, very soon!! #DYK Rolling Hills Reservoir is one of thirteen water storage reservoirs which form part of the Eastern Irrigation District’s irrigation conveyance infrastructure?! In 2002 during enhancement activities to increase the storage capacity of the Reservoir, the Eastern Irrigation District constructed the campground as a community investment initiative to benefit the general public. The picture below, from 2004, shows just how far the campground has come! Can you tell where this is in the campground? Comment your guesses below!

#DYK we have seasonal boat slip applications available for the upcoming season?! The application form can be downloaded from our website and there are applications package available at the EID office (make sure to call first as they are still closed to the public). We will also have additional slips throughout the season to rent on a daily or weekly basis, available at the campground office. Who is excited for summer?! Only a couple months left!

We are looking to hire an individual for campground security for the upcoming camping season! This seasonal position will be from May 14 to September 30, with operations required from Tuesday - Sunday 6pm 2am. Hours may vary with long weekend scheduling. We had to adjust some of our operations at the beginning of the season due to COVID-19, one of them being the cancellation of our seasonal draw. So we want to know what you guys think going forward! Here’s some good news to brighten your week! We are opening to FULL capacity this Friday, June 26!! Day use, the shower/laundry house, AND our group sites will be open! We are also allowing tenting!
