In , Jayson and Lucy adopt this 3-year-old Boykin Spaniel. She needs a name. Any suggestions? _________________ Informally referred to as the southern cousin of American water spaniel, this is the state dog of South California in the U.S. Cheerful and extremely active, they love water and are the ideal choice for families with older kids. Depending on the climatic conditions, his coat may need some grooming and trimming. For example, a humid climate may incre...ase the chances of skin infection. Easily trained and enthusiastic to work, they are considered a good choice of pet for families. They are very social. As long as they get enough opportunities to socialize, they can adapt themselves to any situation. They like attention and do not get angry easily and are always ready for friendly interaction. Like most of the other breeds of dogs, they too require daily exercise and bit of grooming and trimming. See more

é since Lucy last visited Oz; from typical island-tropical to Anglo-Indian. And for a moment, it took her breath away. You’re not in Kansas anymore, she murmured. The whitewashed wooden-slat-floors were scattered with Tabriz rugspowerful deep red and blue contrasting with ivory background livened the lobby like Munchkinland. Rich, dark-brown wicker furniture adorned with pastel- and flowery-printed cushions and pillows and blue-and-white-striped throws ...gave the room an ambiance of luxury. Giant red-clay potted ferns and palms accented white wainscoted walls, where black-and-white photos framed in gold-colored cortices displayed adventures of colonizers and explorers. Lucy glanced toward the lobby’s beach-side entrance, where white silk curtains framed floor-to-ceiling paneled-glass patio doors, partially opened onto a patio overlooking velvety waters where the last of the daylight and cumulating clouds had left streaks of tangerine and silver splashed across pseudo-botanic gardens and fish pool fountains. She took a deep breath, promising herself that when the psychopath Danny Leighton, and the sociopath Hunter, and the in-their-path hurricane, Ericka, were history, she’d find herself a place on the beach then locate the wizard who’d decorated Oz. A handsome pretty-boy approached her; said his name was Donovan; said he was the manager; asked if she needed assistance, as if she’d accidentally entered the men’s room. He looked a little intimidated. By her height, perhaps. Regardless, he smiled, and Lucy said, I’m here on police business. She removed her badge from her belt, flashed it in front of his large dark eyes. Sergeant Hartman, she said. I’d like to take a look around the place, if you don’t mind. The guy’s sweet smile flattened; then soured. You realize this is the third time we’ve been visited by law enforcement, he whispered, glancing around at his clienteles' curious expressions. This isn’t good for business. Lucy returned her badge to her belt, gave a nod. I’m sorry, she said, but unless you’d like me to splatter this lobby with the blood of a headless tourist, which I’m certain would not be good for business, or the cleaning staff, I suggest you just give me the OK and let me get on with my investigation.
