As the circumstances around COVID-19 continue to evolve, so does the Canadian government's response to the pandemic and the relief measures offered to businesses. The Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS)1 has been designed to provide rent and mortgage relief directly to businesses that experience a year-over-year revenue decline.

Did you know that Canada has a $25 bill? Just as we said a fond farewell to the penny and the $1 and $2 bill, we now bid adieu to the rare $25 bill. Not to worry if you have one of the 1,840 still in circulation, you are still able to take it to the bank and exchange it for face value but these rare bills can worth a lot more than that! Fun facts: This special royal purple $25 note was issued on 6 May 1935 to commemorate the silver jubilee of King George V. According... to the Bank of Canada's inflation calculator, $25 then was equivalent to $466.32 in today's dollars. This was the only note to feature a vignette on the back whose content was not Canadian it featured an image of Windsor Castle. According to the Maclean's article, depending on the condition, a $25 bill has regularly fetched between $5,000 and $43,000 on eBay.
