**********Take out Tour 2020******* Well the tribe has spoken and by popular demand I go to Tarek Abdalla and Pita Republic -never been before- you chose for me... So many have had amazing recommendations so I gave it a shot tonight. So let’s light this bad boy up: Location: Pita Republic- Brant and Upper Middle Choice: Lamb Shawarma, Fattoush salad, Baklava and a few Dubai Colas Observations: First, I have to say, there is nothing more admirable in watching an owner digging in and involved in prepping, cooking, washing, whatever it takes. Tarek , my respect , from the moment I walked in and to the moment I left- a class act Sir! Where in town do lamb lovers find a lamb shawarma- here , that’s where. My friends this was generous in quantities and the flavour was absolutely delicious- they also do beef and chicken- the sauces were really nice including a garlic sauce with a bit of hot sauce- whatever to your liking - So Damn good- now I know why you folks wanted me to try it- place was busy which is a good sign. The Fattoush salad was also delicious all the way through with an amazing middle eastern vinaigrette- so tasty- generous quantities again Lastly can you say Baklava- what the hell does that mean anyway?- it sounds like something from a volcano. I am from Armenian descent so I know good, moist, sweet and delicious Baklava- omg I am so done folks- add another 5 lbs- as for the Dubai Cola- what up with that- guess they copied Coke , however with added flavours of dates and honey - so nice- I am saving it for my next meal Summary: To you Tarek and your incredible food, looks like the people who sent me your way knew what they were doing- and also folks he donated $100 dollars in GC to families in need which as you know I am spearheading in the Community.
