Come on out on Saturday, Sept 12th for our annual Scotch Ball Tournament at the Elk Point Golf & Country Club. This event isn't only for married couples so no need to worry if your spouse isn't available to play. As long as it's a male/female team, so grab a friend, sister, brother.... & come and have some fun as the golf season is nearly coming to a close. NEWEST UPDATE AS OF JUNE 19th..... SHARING CARTS.....ALL RESTRICTIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED!!!! Positive Changes to the Alberta Government Golf Course Protocols... Bulletin #15 - June 19, 2020 CLICK HERE TO VISIT OUR ONLINE RESOURCE CENTRE Yesterday, the Province of Alberta made revisions to the golf course protocols. These revisions are positive for our industry. Here are some of the highlights of the changes however please carefully read through the Guidance for Golf Course and Driving Range Operators: ** Power carts: The requirement for wearing a mask or riding with household members only has been removed **Water fountains and water coolers: Can return to the course/clubhouse but should be cleaned and disinfected frequently **Food and beverage protocols (new guidance for buffets and self service): Please carefully review the Guidance for Restaurants, Cafes, Pubs and Bars

NEW UPDATE as of June 12th.... Sharing Carts..... Accompanied with a member of the same household or who are "Cohort" (group of people whose members do not always keep 6 feet) if not, AHS has suggested that both should wear masks.

Members Only... Just to let all our members know that we, the Elk Point Golf & Country Club are part of the Lakeland Golf Association.

As we are now open to the public we encourage you to please continue to follow all rules and regulations as instructed by our Alberta Government and AHS as they are being posted continuously in the clubhouse & on our FB page with all the updates. Always remember to maintain social distancing at all times. As before, members included, please call in your TEE TIMES to avoid disappointment as walk ons are still not permitted. We are also being asked if we rent out clubs, and we're sorry to say that club rentals are not permitted at this time. Stay safe and enjoy the lovely game of golf.
