A BIG Welcome Back to Elm Street Students tomorrow (January 4, 2021) for our online learning week! Happy New Year to you all! Below is a link to a welcome back video with information with this week online. Student schedules and information will be emailed, put on Google Classroom and put on Seesaw for both parents and students to access. All classrooms will meet live at 9-11:30am for instruction. These lessons will be recorded, in case students miss a lesson and want to revie...w the lesson at a later time. It is expected that students complete the work that will be provided at the 9-11:30am (2 and 1/2 hour) instructional time (Please note that Early Learning -Kindergarten and ELP- have 1 and 1/2 hour instruction times...this information has been sent out by Ms. Tschritter). Please contact your classroom teacher by email or call the school tomorrow if you have any questions about classroom work, technology, ...anything. Dear families, For those who have booked meetings regarding their student's Instructional Support Plan (ISP, Elm Street teachers are making calls based on those previously booked appointments.

Schools are now closed due to power being out.

9:20 p.m. UPDATE: We have just been informed by Southland Transportation that they will no longer be able to provide school bus transportation for students tomorrow because the buses in their yard are being blocked in by snowdrifts. Buses are canceled for tomorrow, November 9, 2020. We recognize and respect that some families will choose to keep their children home from school during inclement weather. If you decide to keep your kids home please inform the school of their absence. Our schools will remain open to receive students of families who are able to get them there safely. We are monitoring the weather forecast and understand that the snow is expected to subside overnight. Please check this post and our website for updates tomorrow morning in case circumstances change.

Sorry- I have just received word from Crayon Academy that they will not be operating Before and After School Care at Elm Street tomorrow. We anticipate Elm Street School will operate as usual. We appreciate your sharing this with friends and families who may be affected.
