We have decided to extend the deadline for our Children's Recipe Contest until April 17th. We know some families will be cooking together over Easter and on March Break. We wanted to give them a chance to get those entries in as well. (Don't forget every entry receives a gift and the winners in each age category will receive a prize)... We've also had some asking for ideas since our contest calls for one ingredient to be available at the Elora Farmers Market sometime during the year. Please comment on this post with your thoughts and ideas. Here's some of ours. Eggs - Easter eggs Spaghetti - water buffalo ground meat, tomatoes, onion Chicken Fingers - chicken breasts Pizza - mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, green peppers Pumpkin Pie - pumpkins, organic flour
