A rug weaver adds final touches to his work.

Every rug in the Silk Orchid Collection carries a story as unique as its pattern. Starting with recycled Sari silk dresses, each garment is unraveled to its fibres before being hand-knotted to create a rug for the ages.

Artisans in Bhadohi, India have passed down the art of rug making from as far back as the 16th century a history that Elte is honoured to be part of.
