So much space! Removed walls removed some windows and some odd flooring levels to create an improved space that would flow!

Exciting to have the design process evolve from a concept, through to the completion of the vision. I love how this project turned out!

Can't wait to see this quartz countertop go in to my clients' kitchen. The dark gray will be the island color with the white for periphery cabinets. The classic kitchen and cabinets throughout the home will be so refreshed!

Interiors to Inspire has amazing customized, decorative wall finishing ideas. Anything from adding metallic, concrete or plaster coating. Thinking of re-doing dated fireplace brick or creating a plaster wine cellar wall? What about a painted mural for a dining room wall or baby's room? Created these "fake" living wall frames for my patio this summer! They finally were put up on the exterior stucco 2 weeks ago! At least the summer has been so lovely that we've enjoyed the patio longer than usual and have enjoyed having these brighten the walls!

Big leaf plants are back "in" and help anchor a space. My client wants to get rid of all of her old (good quality) fake plants and I have suggested she refreshes some of the really large ones by using them in her renovated space. Once the furnishings are complete, a large plant can offer a splash of fresh green and can help to anchor the room! Here's a lovely example in this photo from Homedit.com.

My clients had this great floating TV console custom made to complement their new kitchen. The family room is part of the open floor plan so it works beautifully in their space.

MacEwan Kitchen 2017- The wish by the clients was to keep warm tones in oak cabinetry and walnut hardwood flooring. We balanced with white, trim, wood shutter window coverings, quartz countertop and tile backsplash. The vaulted ceiling with skylights offers plenty of natural light to help keep this kitchen bright!

What a great color this year from Pantone for 2017! Greenery! Fresh, fun and easy to accent with or add into an existing color palette. Love it!

It's time for Christmas decorating! Loved using magnolia leaves this year in my pots! Will have to post another with the little lights on!
