Not only does BigWheel Burger make delicious fresh food, but a huge part of their ethos is to have a positive impact on their local environment and in our island community. A long-time client of Ergos, Big Wheel Burger not only recycles their cooking oil with us, but also purchases biodiesel, made from their used cooking oil, from our partners at the Cowichan Bio-Diesel Co-op (CB-DC)to fuel their community van. In this way, they contribute to our green circular economy by su...pporting local businesses that recycle and repurpose waste. In their restaurants, their take-away containers are also eco-friendly and fully compostable. All of these efforts have helped Big Wheel Burger become the first fast food restaurant in Canada to achieve carbon neutrality! Additionally, Big Wheel Burger has created the Big Wheel Burger Community Foundation to help provide support and incite change in the lives of vulnerable community members. Big Wheel Burger currently has 4 locations (soon to be 5!) where you can indulge in their tasty eats and offers online ordering for convenient curbside pickup or delivery.
