Lord, in 2021, please open my eyes. Allow me to see those around me that are in need. Compel me to listen to them, to hear their needs. Give me the heart to take an interest in their troubles and reveal to me the ways I can help. Lord, I desire so much to be compassionate. I want to be aware of those in need. I want to have the means to help. Let me give to those who are not as privileged as I am. Give me the confidence in my actions so that I can give back. Let me be open to my imagination so that the creativity I may need can flow easily and not be suppressed by doubt. Let me be what others need, Lord. Use me as a vessel of compassion to a world in need. In your Holy Name, Amen. #FiveDaysOfPrayer

Father God, as I embark upon a new year, I pray that I would experience your strength and presence in a whole new way. I pray that no weapon formed against me will prosper because you are greater in me and my life. Thank you that you are my Defender and Strong Tower, my Refuge and Strength. Thank you that you fight for us this year, and in my weakness, you make me strong. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen. #FiveDaysOfPrayer

As you begin your day, pray this prayer for Health Care workers. Father, we thank you for all those people who have given of their lives to help bring healing and provide medical care in their communities. We ask that you grant them wisdom and insight regarding the challenges that they face, guiding, gracing, and sustaining them as they serve for the common good and for your glory. May they be representatives of Christ, extending healing hands, wise solutions, understanding hearts, and clear minds to assist and strengthen those in their care. We are grateful for them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Father God, this year I pray that you would give me your perfect peace to guard my mind and heart. The world can be like a turbulent sea. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you've laid out for me. I trust your Love, God, and know that you are always with me.
