See you soon Kelowna! I will be temporarily postponing my classes. Stay tuned for when we will start up again

Essentrics with Alison 29.04.2021

My classes will be postponed temporarily for social distancing. During these uncertain times, I wish you health and peace of mind so we can support the ones we love. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future! Miranda Esmonde-White will be hosting live Essentrics workouts through Facebook. They will also be available after if you can't make the live class. Also, Essentrics TV is offering a free 14 day trial of over 300 workouts you can do at home.

One more Release, Rebalance & Restore class before we move on to a general Essentrics class in March and April. This class is also a gentle, full-body equipment free workout, yet with more of a focus on strengthening the muscles around the hips and improving posture. Join us! Fridays 1:30-2:30 at 589 Lawrence. #essentrics #kelownafitness #classicalstretch #fullbodyworkout #agingbackwards #posture #dynamicstretching #kelowna #okanagan

A big part of Essentrics is strengthening the muscles of your core, moving the spine in all the ways your spine was designed to move, and improving your posture. Here is a mini-posture workout to give you an idea of some of the sequences you may do in an Essentrics class!

Thinking of trying an Essentrics Class? Here are answers to common questions: What are your classes like? We start with a warm up to release tension in the joints and then move on to a series of standing sequences designed to improve posture, strength, and mobility. We then move to the floor to do further exercises, or move directly into stretching. What is the typical age range? All ages are welcome! The majority of participants are in the 50s to 60s age range, although peo...ple in their 20’s through 70’s have attended. What if I’ve never done Essentrics? You don’t have to have any previous experience - most people who come to class had no prior experience with the technique beforehand. As your instructor, I lead you through the workout and provide verbal instruction as we go along. Feel free to reach out if you would like any further information.
