Pictures below show two recycling carts. One with all the containers loose inside and one with the containers placed inside bags/liner. EWSWA requires all recyclables to be loose in recycling boxes and recycling carts. When they are bagged our sorter working on the line and our equipment is not able to manage the material at the Recycling Centre. Thank you to everyone for making the changes as a result of our "Bye Bye Plastic Bags" bag ban this summer. Place shredded paper in paper bags.

Aluminum trays are recyclable in the blue box. Please remove all food before recycling.

Aseptic containers belong in the blue box. Please remove all caps, lids and straws.

Cartons are considered a container. Please recycle in the blue box with bottles and cans.

Throwback Thursday-All plastic bottles can and should be recycled in your blue box. If you purchase cases of bottled water to stay cool during this heatwave ensure all 24 bottles end up in the blue box. Don't let any getaway!
